The First Vienna award

The first Vienna award was a major first step with Hitlers vision to reunite all Germans under one strong German ruled European empire and it took place November 2nd, 1938, after the Munich agreement that gave Germany the control of the Sudetenland which is an outer part of Czechoslovakia bordering Germany . Czechoslovakia was comprised of 23% Germans so in Hitler's eyes this was a necessary step in achieving his goal of all Germans united under Germany.

It was the result of the first Vienna arbitration giving Hungary parts of Czechoslovakia peacefully. It
showed Hitler that France and the UK were not ready for another war and would spark Hitler's path of aggression and conquering of Europe.

Its interesting to debate and discuss what Hitler truly wanted from the first Vienna award, was it really the people that resides there? the land? to test France and the UK?
