Movies...do people always believe what they watch?

Think of Custer.

Ponder.

  1. I believe that it is hard for people to not completely believe what they see in movies. If people watch a movie, they remember it because it is easier to remember visually. For example, if there is a non-fiction movie, people will think the actor in the movie is exactly what the real person that they are imitating looks like. This also relates to the history of an event and how people can have a clouded view of what actually happened.

    1. I agree partially with what you've said. Even though movies are a constant part of our life, it shouldn't be what we base our experiences off of. Movies are only meant to be entertainments usually, something based off one's imagination and script, and not something filmed as it's happening in real life. I really like the way you also relate how we view movies to how people view situations: they take a side and have biased opinions on what they prefer to be the outcome of the situation.
